Reach the donors your supporters already know

Give every supporter a fundraising page on your own site, with their own goal, story and team. Every donation credits itself to them and lands in your donor records like any other.

A supporter's fundraising page: Sofia Okafor, walking 60 miles along the river for clean water with the Riverside Walkers team, has raised $1,800.00 of her $2,000.00 goal from 18 donors, with buttons to donate, start your own page or share hers.

Your supporters know people you never will. Give them a page of their own and they will raise money from friends, family and colleagues who would never have found your campaign, because the person asking is somebody they know.

You set it up once for a campaign. Supporters sign up, share their page and start raising, and every donation credits itself to the right person and the right team. There is no spreadsheet to reconcile and nothing to tag by hand.

What it does

  • Real pages, not widgets

Each campaign gets fundraiser, team and sign-up layouts as real, editable WordPress pages. Change one and every fundraiser page in that campaign follows.

  • Every donation credited

A donation made on a fundraiser page is credited to that fundraiser and their team, with nothing for anyone to tag by hand.

  • Leaderboards and approvals

Leaderboards, campaign progress, fundraiser and team grids, and rosters, all as blocks, plus an approval queue for campaigns that gate who may fundraise.

  • Teams, or just individuals

Turn teams on or off per campaign. A donation can go to a team directly or arrive through one of its members, and the team total follows its current roster either way.

  • The emails that keep a page going

Welcome, approved and declined, the first donation, a milestone as the goal fills, and a nudge on days two, four and seven when a page has raised nothing yet.

  • A goal already on the page

Set a default personal and team goal per campaign so a new page opens with a number on it, and let the fundraiser change it.

Keep the donors your supporters bring you

The people who give on a fundraiser page become your donors, not a platform's. The page sits on your website, the donation goes through your own donation form, and the record lands in your donor list alongside every other donation.

Your supporters have nothing to sign up to, and their friends need no account before they can give. You keep the relationship and the data, so the people who gave because a friend asked them are yours to thank and yours to ask again.

When a fundraiser shares their link, the preview carries their name, their photo and the story they wrote. It looks like their page when it lands in a group chat, which is why people click it.

  • Your site and your domain
  • Your gateway and receipts
  • Your donor records

Every donation credits itself

A donation made on a fundraiser page is credited to that fundraiser and their team the moment it arrives. Nobody decides whose it was, nobody updates a total, and nobody keeps the spreadsheet that is wrong by the second week.

The totals stay right on their own. They are worked out from the donations rather than added up as they arrive, so a refund comes back out of the fundraiser total, the team total and the leaderboard, and a refund your gateway later reverses goes back in.

Run teams where they help and turn them off where they do not. Where teams are on, someone can give to the team directly or through one of its members, and the team total follows whoever is on the roster.

  • Credited on arrival
  • Refunds come back out
  • Team totals follow the roster

Keep every page going past the first week

Most people who sign up to fundraise mean it, and then the link sits unsent. A page that takes nothing in its first week usually takes nothing at all, and by the time anyone notices, the campaign is over.

So a page with no donations gets a nudge on days two, four and seven, and then stops. Fundraisers hear about their first donation and each milestone as the goal fills, because that is the moment they are most likely to ask the next person.

You stay in control of how much of this they get: every donation, or one summary a day, set per campaign, and a fundraiser can turn it off for themselves. Every message is a template you can rewrite in your own voice or switch off.

  • Every donation or one summary a day

From switched on to first donation

  1. 1

Switch it on for a campaign

Choose whether teams are allowed, whether supporters may start a page themselves or wait for approval, and what goal a new page opens with.

  2. 2

    Supporters make it theirs

A short form gives them their own page and a link to share, built from the layout you set for the campaign.

  3. 3

    Donations credit themselves

A donation given on a fundraiser page is credited to that fundraiser and their team, net of refunds, without anyone tagging anything.

Questions people ask

Anything else? Ask support, with or without a plan.

Do our fundraisers need WordPress accounts?

No. They fill in a short form, and a link arrives by email that signs them in. They edit their page from the same portal your donors use, so nobody is given a login to your WordPress admin and nobody has a password to forget.

Can we approve people before their page goes live?

Per campaign, yes. It is off to begin with, so pages go live as soon as someone signs up. Turn it on and new pages wait in a queue instead, and the person is told when you approve or decline them.

Which payment gateways can fundraiser pages take donations through?

The same ones as the rest of your site. A fundraiser page shows the campaign's own donation form, so the gateways, the receipts and the donor records are the ones you already have, not a separate checkout.

What can a fundraiser change on their own page?

The heading, their name as it is shown, their story, a photo, their goal, and which team they are on. The layout around all of that stays yours.

What happens to a total when a donation is refunded?

It comes back out of the fundraiser total, the team total and the leaderboard. If the gateway later reverses that refund, it goes back in. Totals are worked out from the donations rather than counted up as they arrive, so they do not drift.

Will fundraisers be buried in email?

You choose per campaign whether they hear about every donation or get one summary a day, and a fundraiser can turn page activity off for themselves. Every message is a template you can edit or switch off.

Can we make the pages look like the rest of our site?

Each campaign has three ordinary WordPress pages behind it, for the fundraiser view, the team view and the sign-up form. You edit them in the block editor with your own theme, and every page of that kind in the campaign follows.

Peer-to-Peer comes with Advanced and Elite.
